2018 Holiday Lunch is a Hit! (Photo Gallery)

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2018 holiday luncheon at the district office. Whether you helped plan the event, brought a dish to share, or just participated in the fun, the holiday party wouldn't have been successful without you. 

From the plethora of food, to the fun activities, employees enjoyed an afternoon of fun, food, and friendship together before the holidays.

Brad Wise Bids Farewell After 30 Years of Service

Senior Right of Way Specialist Brad Wise has bid farewell to MoDOT after 30 years of service with the department. Assistant District Engineer Susan Barry awarded him with his plaque. 

The Right of Way Department went above and beyond to make sure that Brad's humor and quick wit were showcased during his retirement celebration with a Johnny Carson/Tonight Show theme!

There was music, monologues, guest speakers, and most importantly, smiles and laughter among the crowd who gathered to wish Brad a happy retirement and farewell.

Brad's wife and daughter in law were also present, as well as several other retirees.

4th Annual Maintenance Holiday Party (Photo Gallery)

The Maintenance Department held its 4th Annual Holiday/Potluck Party. The event at the Lee's Summit Maintenance Building took place Thursday, Dec. 13. Maintenance teammates from across the KC region got a chance to recognize one another for the great work they accomplished throughout the year. More than 250 people were in attendance.
